June Marceille Linder age 95, of Greenville passed away at 4:59 am Friday, December 20, 2024, at EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.
June was born June 8, 1929, in Darke County to the late Ray & Ruth (McGriff) Besecker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, G. Wayne Linder on July 3, 2004; brothers, Gaylen, Donald, Verlin and Gene Besecker; and sister, LaVone Birt.
June is survived by her children, Steven Linder of New Madison and Sharon Linder of Greenville; sister-in-law, Helen Besecker of Greenville; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
June retired from the Brethren Retirement Community where she worked 19 years in housekeeping. She attended the Greenview Calvery Tabernacle in Dayton.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, December 27, 2024, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Tim Livingston officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Fort Jefferson. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
