Karen Sue Oyler, age 52 of New Paris, Ohio passed away at 6:40 PM, Saturday, January 18, 2025, at her residence. Karen was born October 2, 1972, in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John E. and the late Lois J. Barton
She is survived by her husband, Dan P. Oyler whom she married on July 10, 1993; her children, Nichol (Brent) Fourman and Cody Oyler; her grandchildren, Evelyn Louise, Emma Lou, Ellie Lane Fourman and Nolan Philip Oyler.
Karen lived her life to the fullest as her husband and her children were her world and she loved her grandchildren something fierce. If you knew Karen, you knew her for her love of Hallmark ornaments, McDonalds Cokes, Reese’s Eggs and most importantly her love for animals. Karen will be remembered for having the warmest heart and an open-door policy.
Karen’s family will receive family and friends on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the church.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 25, 2025, at The Community of Faith Church, Greenville Campus, 383 Eidson Road, Greenville, Ohio 45331 with Pastor Alex Murphy officiating. Burial will take place following the service at Miller Cemetery, 4764 Clark Station Road, Greenville, Ohio with Bart Hoblit officiating.
It is the family’s wishes that in leu of flowers, memorial contributions in Karen’s memory be sent to The Cancer Association of Darke County, 1111 Sweitzer Street STE C, Greenville, Ohio 45331.
