Rhoades, Kent, age 74, of Greenville, OH, passed away on February 24, 2025, at his residence. Kent was born on April 5, 1950, to the late Chalmer & Juanita (Dunn) Rhoades. He is preceded in death by his parents. Kent was a graduate from Greenville High School in 1969. He worked at Corning Glass in Greenville for 36 years; he then went to Anchor Hocking in Winchester for 14 years until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing at Wayne Lakes and was a member of the Greenville YMCA where he practically lived. He also liked to watch Nascar racing and eating out at different restaurants. Surviving Kent is his son, Christopher Rhoades; sister, Linda Grilliot (Gene); brother, Randy Rhoades (Marcia); nephew, Aaron Grilliot; niece Jamie (Matthew) and numerous cousins. Visitation for Kent will be on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 1-2 p.m. at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304, with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Greenville YMCA.
