GREENVILLE- It’s a long way to travel to attend the Darke County Fair but Adam Kerr made it with his mom, Sheril, from Poole Dorsett and the young Brit was taken by it all.
“This place is awesome,” said the 15-year-old Kerr. “We have nothing like this in the UK and I just love it. In England we have fairs but they are tiny, nothing like this place. This is the first massive fair I’ve ever been to.”
While loving every minute of his time at the fair, Kerr was outspoken about one thing.
“This costs a lot of money,” Kerr said. “I can’t believe how expensive it is. “
Coming from the UK, it was a 8.5 hour flight across the Atlantic covering over 4,000 miles. A lot of money to get here.”
When asked what he liked the most, Kerr gave a very simple answer.
“I like the rides,” Kerr admitted. I like all of them. Kerr said he won a teddy at one of the games by popping the most balloons.”
Kerr will enter his junior year in school but says he wants to come back to the fair.
Kerr took a lot of pictures and will have a few stories of his own for his friends.
He said hopefully he can bring a friend with him next year.
