Kesha Abernathy Jett age 38, of Greenville passed away at 4:34 PM on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.
Kesha was born March 15, 1983, in Greenville to Kelly (Kenny) Wells of New Carlisle and Scott (Charlene) Abernathy of Covington. In addition to her parents, Kesha is also survived by her husband, Lamont Jett; sons, Narada, Jashawn and Zion; maternal sisters, Cassie (Steve) Reyes of Springfield, Tabernea (Phil) Hoover of Springfield and Leah Burton & Bill Burton of Dayton; paternal sisters, Deceena Gaines of Covington and Jessika Casey of Covington; maternal grandmother, Lydia Hilbert of Greenville; mother-in-law, Shirley (Terry) Deloney of Richmond, Indiana; special niece, Carmen; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Kesha was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy; and maternal grandfathers, Walter Ahlering and Robert Hilbert.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
