Larry Eugene Cockerham, 63, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at his home. He was born on April 20, 1959, in Dayton, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Lucille Cockerham and Ralph Cox and Rose (Reedy) Cox.
Larry was a 1977 graduate of Greenville High School. He worked for the Village of Arcanum in the public works department. Larry then continued as a truck driver for several years until he retired earlier this summer. Larry loved his Harley Davidson’s and enjoyed riding whenever he could. He was often found rooting for the Cincinnati Bengals and enjoying a cold Milwaukee’s Best Light.
Larry is survived by his children, Jason (Mindy) Cockerham of New Madison, Ohio, and Tammy (Jalan) Cockerham-Harvin of North Hollywood, California; his grandchildren, Dalton and Braden Cockerham, and Caitlin Robison, all of New Madison, Ohio; and his sister, Kelly (Chuck) Bohse of Brookville, Ohio.
A celebration of Larry’s life will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus, with Pastor Eric Fee officiating. Burial will follow in Palestine Cemetery.
Guests may visit with Larry’s family on Friday, October 28, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at funeral home in Greenville.
