Lee Roy Spurlock age 71, of Greenville passes away at 8:11 am Friday, June 21, 2024, at EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.
Lee Roy was born September 20, 1952, in Darke County to the late James Beckham Spurlock & Betty (Stires) Minnich. Lee Roy was also preceded in death by a brother, James Spurlock.
Lee Roy is survived by his wife, Susan (Henninger) Spurlock whom he married May 26, 1979; daughter & son-in-law, Roni & Travis Allen; grandchildren, Ryan, Sara and Zach; and sister & brother-in-law, Anita & JR Claxton.
Lee Roy served in the National Guard. He formerly worked at ConAgra Foods in Troy.
A celebration of Lee Roy’s life will be held at 5:00 pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church 131 East 4th Street Greenville with Pastor Keith Menter officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to EverHeart Hospice in Greenville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville.
