The Anna Bier Gallery invites the public to the opening art reception of their next exhibition on Saturday November 11th at 6:00 pm. The exhibit, “Legends & Bombshells,” features colorful, expressive portraits by Richmond, Indiana artist Pam Fraizer. The artist will be available to talk with guests in the gallery from 6:00 -7:00 pm prior to the performance of comedian Rex Havens taking place at Memorial Hall that same evening.
Throughout her career, Pam Fraizer has found expression more important than realism. Because of this, she developed a distinctive style which is bold and colorful. “Legends & Bombshells” features two subsets of portraits; The first of early jazz and country artist “Legends” who recorded for Starr- Gennett studios, and the second of influential women she calls “Bombshells.”
The Anna Bier Gallery is located at 215 W. 4th Street, Greenville Ohio within St. Clair Memorial Hall. This non-profit gallery is operated as part of Darke County Center for the Arts. Gallery hours for Fraizer’s exhibit are Saturdays from November 11th through December 16th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Artwork will be available for purchase with a percentage of sales benefitting Darke County Center for the Arts. The gallery will be closed Thanksgiving weekend.
Information about future exhibits will be posted on the Anna Bier Gallery Facebook Page.
