Linda Ann Fair, 81, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022, at the EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.
She was born on April 6, 1940, in Richmond, Indiana, to the late James and Imogene (Dunn) Barringer.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Duane Fair, in October 1992; her daughter, Tamera Harrell; her granddaughter, Ashlie Harrell; and an infant brother, James Earl Duane Barringer.
Linda was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother and she will be remembered as a dedicated and faithful Christian. She was a very active member of the First Assembly of God Church and was involved with the Women’s Ministries at the church. When she had free time, she enjoyed watching scary movies, cooking, shopping and going out to eat with friends and family. She has shared her joy of shoes, jewelry and handbags with many members of her family, and she has entrusted them to carry on this tradition.
Linda is survived by her daughters, Leslie Prestel of Greenville, Robin (Richard) Rosenquist of Troy, Ohio, and Shanna Renee Cates of Versailles, Ohio; her grandchildren, Janette Archey, Keagan Fair, Eric Woodruff, Ryan Woodruff, Zachary Wilkerson, and Kiersten Cates; her great grandchildren, Alaina Phipps, Quinton Griggs, KaryAna Phipps, Arianna Wilkerson, Kaige Woodruff, David Woodruff, and Samuel Woodruff; her sister, Pamela (Timothy) Broering of New Paris, Ohio; and countless other family members and friends.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, April 8, 2022, at First Assembly of God, 7219 OH-118, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Dale Boeger officiating.
Her family will be receiving guests on Friday, from 3:00 PM until the time of the service at the church.
