Lloyd K. Stith, 80, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at his home.
He was born on August 19, 1943, in Sherman, Texas, to Lloyd J. Stith and Etta Lorraine (Clappsaddle) Jenson.
In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet (Olson) Stith, whom he married on September 1, 1963, and who passed away on April 18, 2022; his father, Glenn Jenson; his son-in-law, Jamie Menger; his grandson, Dylan Stith; and his brothers, Richard Jenson and Greg Jenson.
Lloyd is survived by his children, Steven Stith of Celina, Ohio, Shelly Menger of Greenville, and Stacie (fiancé, Robbie Gaier) Hilderbrand of Piqua, Ohio; his grandchildren, Joshua (Heather) Stith of Greenville, Kyle (Ashley) Stith of Celina, Adam (Kristen) Stith of Celina, Aaron Stith of Troy, Ohio, Allison Stith of Greenville, Breann (Steven) Mittermann of St. Henry, Ashlyn Menger of Rossburg, Jakob Menger of Greenville, Erik Menger of Greenville, and Nicholas (Olivia) Stith based in O’ahu, Hawaii; his 13 Great Grandchildren; his brother, Larry Jenson of Bode, Iowa; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his beloved dog, Chico.
After graduating from Twin Rivers High School in Iowa, Lloyd attended Iowa State University. With a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Lloyd started his engineering career working for Massy Ferguson for 15 years. His career brought him to Ohio, where he worked for New Idea and then retired from McCauley’s in Vandalia. Lloyd was an intelligent person and had a great sense of humor. He was known to have strong opinions and always made others aware of his thoughts, even if he wasn’t right. Lloyd was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Greenville.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
