Greenville, OH – The Greenville Business & Professional Women’s Club’s (BPW) Christmas’ committee is inviting all members and guests to their monthly meeting on Thursday, December 12th. The meeting is to be held at the Chestnut Village Meeting Room, 823 Chestnut Drive at 6:30 PM. The meeting is hosted by Chair Gina Wolfe and members Vicki Cost, Leah Dumas and Desteni Mason.
As part of the Christmas meeting the Club is participating in a philanthropic project. The Club is once again sponsoring a family from the Gateway Youth Program. A stocking will be passed for donations to purchase gifts for the family. Sizes and wishes of the family were shared with the members to bring in additional gifts. Lastly, a Christmas ‘white elephant’ gift exchange (value of $10.00 or less) is planned between those in attendance
The meeting starts at 6:30PM with appetizers and desserts at 7:00PM at a cost of $15.00. The Club’s mission is to achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education, and information. Fund raisers are held throughout the year to raise money to grant scholarships to Darke County senior high school girls and young women furthering their education. The Club meets the second Thursday of every month for a dinner meeting.
