DARKE COUNTY- With two weeks of high school football in the books, three Darke County teams remain undefeated.
Ansonia layed a 56-0 beat down on Covington while Tri-Village remained perfect with a 48-14 drubbing of Preble Shawnee. Both are on top of the Wsstern Ohio Athletic Conference (WOAC).
In the MAC, Versailles hammered Ft. Loramie 35-0 to go to 2-0 on the season.
Arcanum fell to 1-1 on the campaign, falling to Twin Valley South, 42-13 while Bradford suffered its first loss of the year, losing to Cincinnati Country Day, 33-6.
Greenville and Mississinawa Valley are still searching for their first victory of the young season.
The Wave took it on the chin, falling to Troy, 58-0 while the mighty Blackhawks held their own against Dixie but in the end the Greyhounds prevailed, 35-27.
Week three will see Ansonia hosting the undefeated Dixie squad in what could be the game of the week.
Tri-Village will travel to Twin Valley South, 1-1, Friday while Versailles will hit the road to do battle with Delphos St. John’s to remain undefeated in the mighty MAC.
in other games, Bradford will travel to New Miami while Mississinawa Valley will look for its first victory hosting Arcanum.
Greenville will head to Tippecanoe to tangle with the Red Devils.
