Lowell Lee Brinley, age 88, of Greenville, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Brethren Retirement Community. He was born on October 9, 1935 in Hollansburg to the late Raymond and Hazel Brinley.
In addition to his parents, Lowell is preceded in death by his siblings, Albert, Raymond, Jimmy, Esta, Jane, Margaret, and Mary; and great grandson, Drew Steinberger.
Lowell is survived by his children, Tim (Darsi) Brinley, Barry (Gloria Keller) Brinley, Vicki Steinberger (companion- Tom Niswonger), and Debbie (Todd) Frech; grandchildren, Samantha (Clayton) McGlothin and Tiara Brinley, Michelle Highfield & Rico, Dawn Loy & Josh, Tyler (Sheena) Brinley, Philip (Becca) Brinley, Kaitlyn Brinley & Frank, Andrea Myers, Justin Myers, Kelli (Brandon) Pierce, and Kasey (John) Short ; step grandchildren, Laura Sullivan, Brad Sullivan, Jennifer (Rob) Weyant, Sean Martin; great grandchildren, Raylan Pierce, Harlan Pierce, Josie Pierce, Madison Myers, Maddix Myers, Grace Myers, Hudson Myers, Dustin Steinberger, Taylor Highfield, Chris Blaine Highfield, Hailey Loy, Jacob Loy, Ethan Loy, Owen Brinley, and Delilah Setters; step-great grandchildren, Ayla Weyant, Liam Martin, Hailey Jenkins, and Ava Jenkins; and great great grandchildren, Malani Gillispie and Malakai Loy.
He graduated from Westmont High School in 1954. Lowell worked at Moter Mower in Richmond, IN and at Thoroseal in Centerville, IN. He also worked for many years and retired from Natco Community Empowerment Center in Richmond, IN. He was a very hard worker and liked spending time with his friends at the Moose Lodge. Lowell enjoyed playing softball and basketball.
A private graveside service will be held at Hollansburg Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
