DECEMBER 15, 1937 – NOVEMBER 7, 2023
Lowell Raymond O’Dell, 85 of Arcanum, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 7, 2023 at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville, Ohio. Lowell was born December 15, 1937 in Verona, Ohio, the son of the late Raymond and Olive (Swank) O’Dell.
Lowell was a farmer; a graduate of Arcanum High School; he enjoyed hunting and in his early years enjoyed horseback riding.
Lowell is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carol Ann (Bowers) O’Dell on February 7, 2023 whom he married on October 2, 1959; and his son, Rodney O’Dell.
Lowell is survived by his daughter and son in law, Gwindelin & Darren Fourman: grandchildren Rashel Massie; Amanda Fore; Dustin Fourman: great grandchildren Allie Green; Emmitt and Elliott Fore; Rogan, Roger, Eli, Hudson Fourman: siblings, Norma Aukerman, Lois Livingston, and Duane O’Dell.
Funeral services will be held on Monday November 13, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens, Greenville, Ohio. Friends may call on the family from 12:00-2:00 PM on Monday, November 13, 2023 at the funeral home, Greenville, Ohio.
