Lucille Sherry age 91, of Greenville passed away at 7:44 pm on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Village Green Healthcare Center in Greenville.
Lucille was born September 13, 1930, in Montgomery County to the late Chester & Ruth (Wentworth) Cunningham. Lucille was also preceded in death by her husband, William C. “Bill” Sherry on March 4, 2017, whom she married November 6, 1949; son-in-law, Richard Reinhardt; sister, Mary Baldschun; and brother, James Cunningham.
Lucille is survived by her children, Bill (Lisa Evans) Sherry of Greenville and Connie Reinhardt of Okeana, Ohio; grandchildren, Jason Reinhardt, Chris & Alexandra Reinhardt, Jacquelyn & Preston Deeter, Colton Sherry & fiancée, Erin Retter, and Nicole Sherry; great grandchildren, Logan Reinhardt, Jacob Reinhardt and 1 expected; very close friend, Harlan Camacho of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lucille was a homemaker and helped her husband on their dairy farm. She was a member of Stelvideo Christian Church. She was an avid reader.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, May 8, 2022, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Vernon Rodeffer officiating. Burial will follow in Stelvideo Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Stelvideo Christian Church or Gideons International.
