Marianne B. Trump “Evening Star”

Marianne Beth (Ackley) Trump, age 65, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022, at EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville after a five-month illness.  Marianne was born November 23, 1956, to the late Earl E. and G. Pauline (Arnett) Ackley.  In addition to her parents, Marianne was also preceded in death by her father-in-law, John Trump and nephew, Jason Keiser.  Marianne is survived by her husband, Roger Trump whom she married November 9, 1991.  She is also survived by brother, Ted (Connie) Ackley of Mason; nieces, Lynn (Randy) Moles, Beth (Mike Molloy) Ackley; nephew, Ryan Ackley; mother-in-law, Betty Trump; sister-in-law, Cindy (Steve) Hale, both of Greenville; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Marianne was a 1975 graduate of Greenville High School.  She was employed at Fram Corporation and went on to pursue an LPN degree at Dayton Scholl of Nursing.  Marianne lovingly served and cared for the residents of the Brethren Retirement Community for 35 years.  She gained true friendships among her co-workers.  The tight group of girlfriends enjoyed shopping and going to festivals.  Marianne enjoyed several cruises with her husband, flying in his airplane, and was the ultimate cat lover.

Following “American Indian” tradition Marianne was given the name (Evening Star) from her father, Earl (One Cloud in Sky).

We want to thank the nurses, doctors, and staff at the Brethren Retirement Community and the EverHeart Hospice Care Center for their excellent care of our Marianne.

A private graveside service with immediate family concluded at Abbottsville Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
