Marilyn Edna Wirrig, age 86 of Greenville, Ohio passed away peacefully on September 30, 2021 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. Born in Darke County, Ohio on June 10, 1935, she was one of 5 children to the late Minor & Mildred (North) Anderson. On August 14, 1954 she married the love of her life, Walter “Bud” Wirrig, and they raised 3 children. Marilyn had worked at Kroger in Greenville for 35 years, before retiring as a cashier. She and Bud enjoyed going to auctions; and you would often find her out mowing the yard on her John Deere tractor, tending to her flower garden; and keeping her home sparkling clean. Marilyn loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very sincere and had a way of bringing comfort and joy to those around her; she had a heart of gold. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her Husband Walter “Bud” Wirrig in 2014: brother Steve Anderson.
Survived by her children Vickie & Mark Brinley; John Wirrig; Mike Wirrig of Colorado Springs, CO: grandchildren Matt & Ashlee Brinley; Jaime & Matt Roseberry; Wes & Claire Wirrig; Whitney & Ryan Yingst: great-grandchildren Lyla, Maddox; Willow and Ashton Brinley; Ava and Ella Roseberry; Charlotte, Max and Lucy Wirrig; Blakely and Ryleigh Yingst: brothers Jack Anderson; Kenny & Carolyn Anderson; Wayne & Gieslla Anderson: as well as many family members and friends.
