Marilyn K. Charles, born January 23, 1935, in Greenville, Ohio began her new journey on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 11:35 P.M. at the Brethren Retirement Community.
She was preceded in death by parents, Edward and Ethel Thwaits; her twin sister, Caroline; her sisters, Marjorie and Arlene; and her brother, Wilbur.
Marilyn is survived by her brother, Lester and her sister, Ester; her daughters, Diane Sherry and Debbie Neff and her husband, Doug; her grandson, Eric Webster and her granddaughter, Maria Neff-Brandenburg, and her husband, Aaron; and numerous nieces and nephews scatted around the country.
Marilyn was happiest being outside working in her yard. She had a deep love of all animals. A photo hung in her house titled, “Marilyn’s Zoo, 1996”. This love for animals was passed on to her daughters and grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, word search books, puzzles, and playing cards and the board game she called, “Marbles”.
Per her wishes, there will be no services. She requested to be cremated and to have her ashes brought home and put to rest with her beloved St. Bernard’s.
