SEPTEMBER 21, 1944 – JANUARY 11, 2023
Marilyn Sue Martin Warrick…our Mom, Ma Marilyn, Nan…went home to Heaven on January 11, 2023 with her family by her side. She was 78.
Marilyn was born to the late Glenna (Miller) and Lowell E. Martin on September 21, 1944 in Greenville, Ohio. She graduated from Greenville High School Class of ’62 and resided here her whole life.
She is survived by her 3 children and their spouses: Jennifer (John) Schatz, Lance (Stephanie) Warrick, and Jessica (Kyle) Stahl all of Greenville. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Madison (Matt) Hoff, Tessa Schatz, Hunter and Tarver Stahl, her great grandchildren: Daeson and Rogue, and her grumpy but faithful companion of 15 years, Lucy her cat.
She was preceded in death by her brother Dennis Martin and her brother and sister-in-law Richard and Mary Jean Martin.
Marilyn worked various places throughout her life including: NCR, Dairy Maid, Hughes Supply, and for many years at Eikenberry’s.
In earlier years, but no so long ago, she loved to travel on cruises, road trips, and camping with her family and dear friends. Her ultimate favorite place, however, was Sedona, Arizona.
She absolutely lived for her grandchildren, and now great grandchildren. She was very involved in attending each of their activities, rooting them on no matter what was involved. She was there. Known to all as being very ‘spunky’ and humorous; once she met you, you were no longer a stranger. Many times if you called, you may have been greeted with ‘Jo’s Bar and Grill.’ And she always sent you away with ‘Love you to the Moon and Back and forever and always.’ It was never ‘Goodbye’ because that meant forever, but instead, ‘See you later.’ She loved to give random gifts to everyone; just silly things, but you know meant something that reminded her of you. Everyone in her life meant the world to her and we, in return, were very blessed to have her in ours.
Please join us in the Celebration of Mom’s Life

Mom would want casual dress with no fuss.
