Marjorie A. Alexander, 97 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday February 20, 2022 at her residence. Marjorie was born April 16, 1924 in Delisle, Ohio, the daughter of the late Deo and Letha (Delk) Drew.
Marjorie retired from Stanley Manufacturing of Covington, Ohio, she was a member of Cedar Grove Church of the Brethren where she served as a Deacon; Fort Greenville and Slo-Downers Camping Clubs; Greenville Senior Citizens; and was an avid bowler.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Harold E. Alexander on October 22, 1996 whom she married June 12, 1943; her stepmother: Phyllis Drew; her son: Richard Alexander; her brothers: Richard Drew and Paul Drew
Marjorie is survived by her daughter and son in law: Peggy and David Sinclair of Ithaca, Ohio; grandchildren: Pamela (Craig) Hensley, Christopher Sinclair, 6 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; her sisters: Nancy Plantz, and Rosalie Ross; and numerous nieces and nephews,
Services will be held on Friday February 25, 2022 at11:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Tony Price officiating. Burial will follow in Greenmound Cemetery, New Madison, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday February 24, 2022 and 1 hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to EverHeart Hospice or Cedar Grove Church of The Brethren.
