Mark Lee Howdieshell

August 15, 1960 — February 12, 2025

Mark Lee Howdieshell, age 64, of Greenville, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Everheart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.

He was born on August 15, 1960 in Greenville to the late Paul Howdieshell and Donna Mae (Beisner) Howdieshell. 

In addition to his father, Mark is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth “Dori” Howdieshell; grandparents, Harry and Edith Beisner and Ruth and Henry Schlechty. 

Mark will be missed by his mother, Donna Mae Howdieshell of Greenville; brother, Kenneth Howdieshell of Hollansburg; special friend, Laura (Lyons) Ahrens of Greenville; step-children, Melissa (Bass-Boatright) Hendrickson and her husband, Bobby, of Lewisburg, Ohio, Arthur “Bubba” Dewey Boatright, Jr. and his wife, Tonya, of Greenville; grandchildren, Alex Myers and her husband Jacob, Bo Hendrickson, Colt Hendrickson, Brooke Crider (Brandon), Wyatt Boatright (Raven), and Garrett Boatright; numerous great grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Mark graduated from Greenville High School. He worked for Lowe’s in Greenville, Mark started working there when the store first opened in 2007. Mark belonged to the Moose Lodge #329 of Greenville, Sons of the American Legion Post #140 in Greenville, VFW Post #7262 of Greenville, and Eagles #2177 of Greenville. He was a former member of St. John Luthern Church. He was an avid bowler, he also enjoyed playing golf and softball. Mark was an Ohio State Buckeyes fan and had a passion for music. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. Mark will be remembered for how hard of a worker he was, his infectious laugh, and contagious smile. 

A celebration of Mark’s life will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus with Pastor Hershel Fee and Rev. Alliyah Blakeley.

Guest may visit the family prior to the service from 4:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home.
