Marvin L. Miller age 80, of Greenville and formerly of Bradford passed away at 5:47 pm Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
Marvin was born October 14, 1941, in Pitsburg to the late I. Ezra & Christine (Martin) Miller. Marvin was also preceded in death by his 1st wife, Marilyn S. (Bashore) Miller on April 12, 2011, whom he married March 12, 1966; step sons, Steven Peck and David Peck; sisters, Betty Ann Miller, Lucy Martin, Donna Miller and Marcia Miller; and brothers, David Miller, Adrian Miller, Alvin Miller, William Miller and a brother in infancy.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Beverly (Baker) Miller whom he married December 27, 2014; sons & daughter-in-law, Doug & Patty Miller of Bradford and Roger Miller of Pleasant Hill; step son, Michael Scott & Tim Becker of Arcanum; step daughter-in-law, Elaine Peck of Covington; grandchildren, Sarah Miller and Tyler Miller; sister & brother-in-law, Shirley & Jim Smith of New Madison; brother & sister-in-law, Norman & Deloris Miller of Greenville; and sisters-in-law, Grace Miller of Bradford and June Miller of Bradford.
Marvin was a 1959 graduate of Gettysburg High School. He served in the Ohio National Guard. Marvin retired from Hobart in Troy where he was a grinder and polisher for over 30 years. He was a life member of the Amvets Post 66, Covington.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Kyle Herrmann officiating. Burial will follow in Greenmound Cemetery in New Madison. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
