Mary Lou Neff, 75 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday December 30, 2024, at 1:30 AM at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. Mary Lou was born August 15, 1949, in Piqua, Ohio, the daughter of the late Darrell and Betty (Jay) Fryman.
Mary Lou worked at Darke County Job and Family Services for 37 years. She was a member of Greenville Church of the Brethren where she served as a Deacon; She was a member of DAR; she loved genealogy and was a member of First Families of Darke County (Genealogy prior to 1850); she enjoyed nature, learning and teaching her son.
Mary Lou is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, John Adam Neff.
Mary Lou is survived by her son and daughter in law, David and Miranda Neff of Englewood; and her brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Terri Fryman of Greenville.
A Celebration of Mary Lou’s life will be held on Saturday January 4, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Greenville Church of the Brethren, 421 Central Avenue, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the services at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Adopt A Tree Program.
