Mary Ruth Sanders, 68 of Sidney, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday March 25, 2025, at 5:51 PM at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Sidney, Ohio. Mary Ruth was born July 8, 1956, in Greenville, Ohio, the daughter of the late George Leroy Schott, and Naomi Ruth (Werts) Schott Denlinger.
Mary Ruth worked at FairHaven Nursing Home in the Dietary department. She attended Savona Schools, was a Good Soul who loved helping people and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren; she enjoyed attending church at Harden Methodist Church in Sidney and enjoyed her flower garden.
Mary Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; her boyfriend, Bob Rader, her dog of 15 years Pinkie, and her sister Betsy.
Mary Ruth is survived by her daughters, Tracy (Sanders) Riley, Angie (Sanders) McNutt, and Chasity (Sanders) Thacker; her grandchildren, Tiffany Roark, Siera Bolin, Trevin Sanders, Josie Medina, Kendra McNutt, Ozzy McNutt, Justin Flint, Chase Flint, and Kaylyn Casity; 27 great grandchildren; her siblings and spouses, Connie Schaffer, Bonnie and Al Rose, Wanda Brandon, Edward and Diane Schott, Jim and Holly Morgan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date at Sidney Park. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Harden Methodist Church.
