Michael Duane Guthrie, age 63, of Greenville, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Ayden Health Care of Greenville.
He was born on May 28, 1961 in Greenville to the late Eugene and Geneva Griffith.
In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his loving wife of 18 years, who he married on July 22, 2006, Lori Guthrie; brother, Rick Guthrie.
Those left to cherish Michael’s memory include his daughter, Janette Guthrie of Greenville; grandchildren, Selena and Brandon; brother, Larry Guthrie of Greenville; sister, Diana Guthrie of Greenville; sisters in law, Jami (Chad) Etter of Bradford and Julia Frye of Saint Petersburg, FL; father and mother in law, Brian and Joyce Siders of Greenville; and many nieces and nephews.
Michael loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He also loved his dogs. Michael and Lori enjoyed traveling, their favorite place to visit was Gatlinburg, TN.
A graveside service will be held at Noon on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Greenville Union Cemetery with Pastor Eric Fee officiating.
