Michael Ross Bunch, Sr., 73, of Arcanum, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.
He was born on May 27, 1951, in Greenville to the late James, Sr. and Carolee (Thompson) Bunch.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his son, Michael Ross Bunch, Jr.; his brother, James “Jim” Bunch, Jr.
Mike is survived by his wife of 29 years, Susan (Garringer) Bunch, whom he married on June 20, 1995; his children, Christina (Dallas) Bryant of Tennessee, Amy (Andy) Baugher of Russia, Sheri (James McIntire) York of Palm Coast, Florida, Michael Seger of Arcanum, and Karla Hinshaw of New Jersey; his 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; his siblings, Barbara (John) Hulett of Celina, Jerry (Debbie) Bunch of Greenville, Rose (Bruce) Root of Wayne Lakes, and Kathy (Curt) Kitchen of Wayne Lakes; his sister-in-law, Janet “Kay” Bunch of Arcanum; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mike worked as a roofer for his entire life and retired from the Local 75 in Dayton. In his free time, Mike loved being outdoors. Whether it was going camping or fishing, or just doing simple yardwork, Mike enjoyed being outside. He enjoyed listening to old music and cooking and barbequing for his family.
A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.
Guests may visit with his family on Saturday from 2:00 PM until the start of the service at 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to help offset final expenses.
