Michelle M. “Mickie” Kolsky, 67, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on November 29, 2021, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
She was born on June 25, 1954, in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, to the late Ralph and Virginia (Brown) Gelder.
Michelle spent most of her life tending to what was most important to her, her family. She loved baking and cooking for them. When she wasn’t at home, Michelle enjoyed being outdoors hiking and camping. She loved looking at flowers and watching birds.
Michelle is survived by her husband of 33 years, Ronald Kolsky, whom she married on April 9, 1988; her children, Shane and Stephanie Sloan of Albany, Ohio, Jody Cline of Greenville, Stacy Smith of Sidney, Ohio, and Rachel Mroz of Wilmington, North Carolina; her grandchildren, Kimberly Sloan of Chauncey, Ohio, Shawn Sloan of Fort Benning, Georgia, Timothy Sloan and Zachary Sloan, both of Albany, Ohio, Hailey Mroz, Nathan Mroz, and Emmalyn Mroz, all of North Carolina, Finley Smith and Paige Smith, both of Sidney, Ohio; her 2 great grandchildren; her sisters, Diane Linder and Janice Wershin; and her 7 nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life is being planned for Michelle at the Greenville Worship Center. More details to come.
