Nancy Ann Kirgan, 70, of Union City, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday. March 23, 2022, at her home.
She was born on February 12, 1952, in Union City, Indiana to the late Harold and Germaine (Gehret) Buckingham.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Kelly and Sandy Buckingham.
Nancy was a 1970 graduate of Union City High School. She worked for over 17 years at FRAM in Greenville. She also designed and manufactured crafts and décor for Cracker Barrel Restaurants nationwide. She and her husband ran the Mansion Bed and Breakfast in Union City for 12 years. Nancy loved politics and was very passionate about conservative politics. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Patrick Kirgan, whom she married on January 4, 1998; her son, Travis (Shari) Grimes of Greenville, Ohio; her stepson, Matthew (Christa) Kirgan of Indianapolis, Indiana; her granddaughter, Olivia Cannon-Grimes of Centerville, Ohio; her step-granddaughters, Eva and Bria Kirgan; her great grandson, Lincoln; her siblings, Terry (Gloria) Buckingham of Greenville, Michael (Nettie) Buckingham of Union City, Indiana, Jayne (Mark) Retz of Parker City, Indiana, Jennifer (James) Gentry and Jackie (Greg) Pitzer, all of Union City, Ohio, and Jill (Tim) Heuss of Union City, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A service for Nancy is being planned by her family for a future date. Burial will take place in Spring Hill Cemetery in Fort Recovery, Ohio.
