Nevin Eugene Deem, 79, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Ayden Healthcare in Greenville.
He was born on May 21, 1943, in Wayne County, Indiana, to the late Harold Deem and Aileen (Satkamp) Browne.
In addition to his parents, Nevin was preceded in death by his wife, Dawanda (Price) Deem; his son, Jim Bush; his granddaughter, Karamie Bush; and his brothers, Bobby, Mike, and Steve Deem.
Nevin loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed dancing, playing euchre and playing other card games with his friends. One of his guilty pleasures was playing the lottery, scratch-off games or whatever he could get his hands on.
Nevin is survived by his children, Biba (Kris) Warner, Deb Burton, Joyce (Matt) Fitzgerald, and Jay (Peggy) Bush, all of Greenville, Ray (Brenda) Bush of Dunkirk, Indiana, Bill (Carolyn) Bush of Arcanum, Ohio, and David (Nickie) Bush of Greenville. He also leaves behind his grandchildren and their families, Brandon Warner, Lee Burton, Travis Burton, Adam Burton, Lorinda Hall, Daniel Bush, Jimmy Bush, Gabe Bush, Tannis Bush, Megan Bush, Kenny Bush, Dylan Bush, Billy Bush, Troy Bush, Nick Bush, Shaylee Bush, Natasha Kennedy, Stephanie Bush, Hayden Bush, Ty Bush, and Jasmine Martin; his 61 grandchildren; his 4 great-great grandchildren; his girlfriend, Shelia Davis of Richmond, Indiana; and his sisters, Sonnie (Joe) Frech of New Madison, Ohio, and Billie Jo Deem of Greenville.
A Celebration of Nevin’s life will be held at 7:00PM on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville campus, with Pastor Mike Simmons officiating. Burial at Abbottsville Cemetery will be at the convenience of his family.
The family will be receiving guests on Wednesday, from 4:00PM until the time of the service at 7:00PM at the funeral home.
