The Darke County Animal Shelter has 7 new dogs, 3 of them 8 weeks old puppies, each one of them the perfect pet for someone out there.
All of them got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and are heartworm negative and microchipped.
The Shelter’s adoption fees are $90 cash/check. Their visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday 9am-11:30 am. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645.
NOTE: the Shelter will be closed Oct. 3rd and 4th for remodel. They will reopen Wednesday Oct. 5th at 8:00am.
Casey came to us as a stray, so our knowledge is very limited and only to what we have observed. We believe Casey is an 8-year-old female Beagle Mix. Casey walks well on a leash and loves attention! Casey is a very sweet and friendly girl who knows how to sit and absolutely loves treats! Casey doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Casey weighs in at 21.6 lbsMax came to us as a stray, so our knowledge about him is very limited and we only know from what we have observed. We believe Max is a 2-year-old intact male Australian Shepherd Mix. Max is very friendly, sweet boy who knows how to sit, lay down, and is treat motivated. Max doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Max weighs in at 45.8lbs.Roscoe came to us as a stray, so our knowledge is very limited and only to what we have observed. We believe Roscoe is a 5-year-old intact male Terrier Mix. Roscoe knows how to sit, lay down and loves treats! Roscoe is a big cuddle bug who loves attention. Roscoe doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Roscoe did great for his bath, nail trim and exam where he weighs in at 57.2 lbs.Sweets came to us as a stray, so our knowledge is very limited and only to what we have observed. We believe Sweets is a 7-month-old female Terrier Mix. Sweets knows how to sit and loves treats! Sweets definitely lives up to her name, she is a very sweet friendly girl who loves attention and doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter.
