Norma Jean Hall, 93, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at the Versailles Rehab and Heathcare Center in Versailles, Ohio.
She was born on August 12, 1927, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Clifford and Leona (Bayless) McCargish.
In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Vester “Lefty” Hall; her daughter, Deanne Julien; and her siblings, Virginia (Jerry) Eyink and Jim (Betty) McCargish.
Norma was a homemaker for a majority of her life. She loved to sing while doing the dishes. It wasn’t uncommon for her to be tap dancing while cleaning around the house. She loved being with her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Norma enjoyed cooking and was a great southern cook. In her free time, Norma volunteered at Wayne Hospital. She and her husband, Lefty, liked dancing, especially ballroom dancing.
Norma is survived by her children, Tim (Theresa) Hall of Hollansburg, and Joan (Gary) Clark of Springfield; her son-in-law, Russ Julien of Arcanum; her grandchildren, Chad (Pam) Gootee of Alabama, Jeff (Brandi) Hall of Wayne Lakes, Matt (Michelle) Julien of Kentucky, Kelly (Matt) Sheeley of Columbus, Angie (Eric) Everman of Arcanum, and Leslie (Kevin) Phlipot of New Weston; her 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Norma’s life will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 14, 2021, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus , with Pastor David Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Ithaca Cemetery.
Family and friends may visit with Norma’s family on Sunday, June 13, 2021, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
