Norval Glen Brigner

January 14, 1927 – March 29, 2025

Norval Glen Brigner, 98 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday March 29, 2025, at 7:10 PM at Brookdale of Greenville. Norval was born January 14, 1927, in Jackson Twp., Darke County, Ohio, the son of the late Zoyd and Lula (Kantner) Brigner.

Norval served his country in the United States Army; he worked as a Quality Control Supervisor for BF Goodrich in Troy, and Perfect Circle in Richmond. He was a member of Reverent Church; he enjoyed fishing at Grand Lake St. Mary’s, oil painting; he was a member of the Elks, VFW, and volunteered for Meals on Wheels; his favorite thing was Christmas Eve gatherings with his family.

Norval is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Jean (Rhoades) Brigner; and his daughter, Teresa Conner.

Norval is survived by his daughters and son in law, Elaine Laux, Jeannine Smith, and Melinda and Byron Overfield; his grandchildren, Dustin Phillips, Jasen Laux, Chad Wilson, Jonathon Wilson, Allison (Smith) Bowling, Brent Overfield, and Brooke (Overfield) Brehm; his great grandchildren, Kennedy Phillips, Hannah Phillips, Trent Laux, Chad Logan Wilson, Jonny Wilson, Breanna (Wilson) Plush, Luke Wilson, Rylee (Wilson) Burk, Ashlynn Wilson, Karli Rice, and Becka Rice; his great great grandchildren, Brooks, and Beckham Wilson, and Mary Lou Wilson.

Services will be held on Friday April 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Jeff Harper Officiating. Burial will follow in Lisbon Cemetery, Union City, Indiana. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home.
