Nova E. Stickley, age 96, of Laura, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. She was born February 5, 1926 to William Herman & Sarah Rebecca (Landis) Reck at their home on Red River West Grove Road in Darke County, OH.
She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband Donald Eugene Stickley; brother Ralph Reck and sister Louise Sease. She will be missed and remembered by her loving children Dennis (Karen) Stickley of Laura and Donova Stickley of Washington Court House; grandchildren Coral (Ed) Matus of Millbury, Cris (Emilie) Stickley of PapaiKou, HI, and Casey (Carmen) Stickley of Las Vegas, NV; 7 great grandchildren.
Nova attended Pleasant View Missionary Church and loved taking care of and feeding her birds, traveling, taking care of her flowers, and playing games with her family and friends. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Mote Cemetery, Pitsburg. Arrangements are in care of Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton.
