MARCH 21, 1939 – DECEMBER 9, 2022
O. Jeanne Cassel, age 83 of Greenville, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 1:35 PM at the Cypress Pointe Health Campus, Englewood, Ohio. Born in Greenville on March 21, 1939 she was a daughter to the late Jacob E. & Rosa C. (Casanova) Miller. Jeanne was a graduate of Greenville High School, class of 1957. She then married the love of her life, Floyd “Bill” W. Cassel, Jr. on August 3, 1958. She was a member of the former Grace Lutheran Church, and currently a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Jeanne had worked at FRAM Corporation, and made many friends there over the years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and children, going camping, and going to country music concerts. She was a very proud member of the Darke County community, you could always find her attending the Darke County Fair and going on rides with her grandchildren and enjoying ice-cream, as well as attending Annie Oakley Days in town. She truly loved her community, her family and her faith; she will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Floyd “Bill”: brothers Richard “Dick” Miller; Jack Miller; Jim Miller: sister Mary Higgins: grandson Daniel Jacob Alexander Cassel.

Cassel; Roger W. & Jayne Cassel; Douglas E. & Jennifer Cassel; Sheri J. & Ray Chester: grandchildren Stacey & Matt Mills; Nicholas Cassel; Douglas Cassel, II & Maegan; Matthew Cassel; Benjamin & Emily Cassel; Breanna Cassel; Mikayla Cassel: great-grandchildren Ayden Baumgardner; MJ Mills; Jude Daniel Cassel; Katie Mills; Maya Cassel: brother Tom Miller: life-long friend Linda Schatz.
Friends may call on the family on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church -131 E. 4th St, Greenville- with Funeral Service to follow at Noon with Pastor Alan Knoke presiding.
