(April 11, 2022) Beef Quality Assurance is a certification that cattle producers around the country can implement on their farm to ensure consumers that our beef is raised with the highest quality and best management practices. The certification lasts for three years, and a one-hour recertification class is required every three years.
Ohio State Extension Darke County is holding a Beef Quality Assurance class on Wednesday April 20th at the New Madison Public Library located at 142 S Main St. New Madison OH 45346 from 9 am to 10 am. The class will be taught by Taylor Dill, the Darke County Ag and Natural Resources Educator. The class has no fee but requires pre-registration because only 30 can be held at the location.
