Patricia Roach

NOVEMBER 11, 1955 – SEPTEMBER 22, 2023

Patricia Louise Roach, also known as Pat Roach, peacefully passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 67 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was born on November 11, 1955, in Ft. Worth, Texas, to her late parents Malcolm and Louise Railey.

Patricia’s life was marked by a deep commitment to education and a genuine passion for nursing. After completing her studies at Bowling Green State University, where she pursued Elementary Education, she went on to obtain her nursing degree at Miami Valley. Her career spanned 27 years at Ansonia local schools, where she served as a teacher. However, it was in the role of a school nurse that she truly found her calling, devoting her final years at Ansonia to caring for the well-being of the students she loved.

Beyond her professional achievements, Patricia’s heart belonged to her beloved family. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Steve Roach, who stood by her side through thick and thin. Patricia was a loving and nurturing mother to her daughters, Sara Maham and Katie Murphy. Sara and her husband Jordon Maham, along with Katie and her husband Matt Murphy, brought immense joy to Patricia’s life. She adored her two grandsons, Sebastian and Roman Murphy, who were the light of her world. A traditional memorial service will be held to honor Patricia’s life at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, located at 1499 N Broadway St., Greenville, OH. Visitation will take place from 1-3 PM, followed by a solemn memorial service from 3-4 PM on Friday, November 17th.

Patricia Louise Roach will forever be remembered for her unwavering dedication to education, her compassionate nursing career, and her profound love for her family. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her. May she find eternal peace and rest in the embrace of her loved ones who have gone before her.
