Phil L. Bowyer, age 83, of Arcanum, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Troy Care and Rehabilitation.
He was born December 28, 1938, in North Vernon, Indiana, to his parents Floyd Leslie & Dorothy Lee (Davisson) Bowyer.
Phil worked at Midwest Tool & Engineering and later retired from Chrysler. He enjoyed fishing in Canada, bird watching, camping at Lake Cumberland, and restoring old trains.
He will be missed and remembered by his wife Clara J. (Ries) Bowyer; children and their spouses Christine & Dan Aring of Centerville, Kimberly & Pat McDermott of Dayton, Antoinette & Rob Osting of West Milton, Brian & Kristy Harsh of West Milton; grandchildren Kelly, Libby, Tim, Shawn, Amber, Ricky, Andrea, and Brad; great grandchildren Anna and Kruz; sister Violet Bowyer of Kettering.
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton, with a private interment at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville.
