Capstone Highlight: Quentin Grillot, a senior, has been selected as the capstone highlight student of the month. He is the son of Rob and Betsy Grillot. Quentin started working at All About Tops LLC in April of 2022 and has continued to work throughout his senior year and has worked over 3,682 hours. Quentin’s primary roles at All About Tops include: cutting sinks, grinding sinks and corners, installing countertops, unloading trucks and polishing countertops, installing countertops and cutting out jobs from slabs. Doug Mendenhall, one of the owners of All About Tops LLC, is quoted by saying, “Quentin is motivated to learn and grow and likes to get assigned tasks done. Quentin is a huge asset to the All About Tops team as he is the only employee, other than the owners, who is able to run the ridge saw. He also cuts out a majority of the sinks and assists often with touch up polishing.”
All About Tops LLC is owned by Doug Mendenhall and Brad Strausbaugh and was established 13 years ago. They specialize in installing countertops made of granite, quartz, sandstone and quartzite. The business started by installing only 1 kitchen per week and now thanks to the capstone program and All About Top’s ability to have more equipment/employees they are installing an average of 4 kitchens per week.
