Ralph L. Bierly, Jr., 75, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He was born on March 4, 1946, in Alma, Michigan, to the late LeRoy and Velma (Fourman) Bierly.
In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Glaze.
Ralph was a true jack of all trades, but a master of none. If something was broke, he’d fix it. From woodworking to welding, Ralph did it all. Ralph worked in construction for several years. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ralph was a true outdoorsman, and loved to go fishing and hunting. Ralph served his country honorably in the United States Army, where he served during the Vietnam War.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 50 years, Elaine Ann (Root) Bierly, whom he married on September 11, 1971; his children, Kim (Robert) Fenton of Greenville, and Stacie (Ryan Widener) Bierly of Greenville; his grandchildren, Jessica Thompson, Shila Thompson, Aleiha Fenton, Michel Thompson, and Dakota (Faith) Edger; his great grandchildren, Carter Myers, Violet Paris, and Paislee Thompson; his siblings, Martha Bierly, Gail Bierly, Jill Bierly, Sue Bierly, Brenda (Russ) Reichard, Paula (Ron) Fair, and Benny (Karen) Bierly.
There will be no public services at this time.
The family has entrusted Tribute Funeral Homes with the final arrangements.
