Ralph L. Ridenour, 86, of Union City, Indiana, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021, at his home.
He was born on February 14, 1935, in Piqua, Ohio, to the late Elmer and Dorothy (Herron) Ridenour.
In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his children, Dawn Ragon, Hope Taylor, Ann Thompson, and Beth Stewart; and his siblings, Virgil, Gary, and Tom Ridenour, and Dotty Winemiller.
Ralph was a proud veteran and served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Union City American Legion. In his free time, Ralph enjoyed taking care of racehorses, playing bingo, and riding motorcycles. He has traveled throughout the entire United States and has visited 48 of the 50 states. Ralph spent nearly 20 years in Oklahoma working on the oil fields.
Ralph is survived by his stepdaughter, Charlotte Leverett; his grandchildren, James Thompson, Evan Stewart, Katrina McDavid, April Bruss, and Chester Ragon; and his many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A celebration of Ralph’s life will take place at the convenience of his family.
