Ray E. Darner age 60, of Union City, Ohio, passed away at 11:33 pm Monday, November 29, 2021, at EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.
Ray was born May 7, 1961, in Greenville to the late Rita June (Shreeves) Darner and Larry E. Darner of Bradford. In addition to his mother, Ray was also preceded in death by a brother, Steve Darner.
Ray is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Idle) Darner whom he married January 12, 1980; daughters, Diana Darner of Union City, Ohio, Rebecca Partin of Ansonia, and Amber Robinson of Rossburg; grandchildren, Raeanne, Bryson, Cainan, Carissa, Cassidy, Connor, Xander, Jayden and Cyla; and brother, David Darner of Middletown.
Ray was a retired machinist.
A celebration of Ray’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville to help with funeral expenses.
