Rayna Whistler, 80, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024, at Brookdale of Greenville. Rayna was born Oct. 31, 1944, in New London, Ohio, the daughter of the late John R. and Ruth (Westbrook) Hartley.
Rayna retired from Fram Corp. She loved to crochet and collect Boyd’s Bears. She and her husband also traveled extensively, including trips to Alaska and Ireland.
Rayna was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Tom Lawrence; her second husband, Floyd Whistler; her stepson, Greg Whistler; her brother, Ronald Hartley; and her sister, Becky Knight.
She is survived by her stepson and daughter-in-law, Mark and Martha Lawrence; her nephews, Andy (Beckisue) Knight and Tom (Simone) Knight; two great-nephews and a great-niece; and two step-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens, Greenville, Ohio.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
