DARKE COUNTY – Darke County Soccer Association is now accepting registrations for the 2025 Spring Rec Season!
Players can participate in our Rec Academy or with our Advanced Rec program. Regardless of which level you choose, you can register by visiting our Facebook page, Darke County Soccer DCSA and following the link.
Rec Academy is for younger and/or newer players. Academy focuses on fun and skill building. All players within their age group (U6 or U9) will practice together on the same night, with a number of coaches, focusing on fun ways to learn, improve skills, and build sportsmanship.
Advanced Rec is for players that already have basic skills established and are looking for more competitive play, but still at the Recreational level (not ready or wanting to move to Select teams) and/or for players U9 and up.
Registration fees are $35 per player for Academy and $55 per player for Advanced Rec. A multi-player discount of 20% on all subsequent players from the same family/household when registered in the same registration cart. The last day to register is Sunday, March 9. Any considerations for late registration will include a fee for limited jersey printing.
Advanced Rec players will be evaluated prior to practices. Player Evaluation Day will be held Saturday, March 1 at 10 a.m. at Trinity Fields, 1400 East Main Street in Greenville.
There will be a meeting for all parents on March 9 at 5 p.m. in the Kidnasium (back entrance at Trinity Wesleyan Church). Games will begin March 22 and are scheduled for a total of seven Saturdays with one practice per week (schedule TBA, older teams may have additional practices, no games April 19th, May 10th or May 24th). All practices and games will be held at the fields behind Trinity Wesleyan Church (1400 East Main St, Greenville) or the fields behind Greenville Middle School (1111 North Ohio St, Greenville) depending on age group and team assignment.
Cleats are recommended, especially for U12+ players. A cleat swap will be held during the Parent Meeting on March 9.
Shin Guards are required for all players. Please be sure your child brings water to all practices and games, and that they are dressed for the weather.
Volunteer Coaches are needed in order to make this season happen! Background checks and safety training required, all online and at no cost to you. We need your help to make this season happen!
