Renee S. Hoblit, age 77, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away at The Everheart Hospice Care Center in Greenville, Ohio, on Sunday, April 6, 2025. Renee was born in Greenville, on March 28, 1948, to the late Harold and Mary (Miller) Jones.
Renee is survived by her son, Kevin (Jody) Hoblit; sister, Gail Gray and brothers, Tom Jones, Joe Jones and Steve Jones; her grandson, Nathan (Destiny) Hoblit; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Nathan Jr. and Maverick.
In addition to her parents, Renee is preceded in death by her grandson, Daman Hoblit; infant son, Matthew Barhorst and brother, Rick Jones.
Renee loved her family. She was a proud grandma as her grandchildren were her life. Renee was a member of Greenview Calvary Tabernacle in Dayton, Ohio. She worked for Corning Glass for 28 years and then for 5 more years as a Security Guard at Whirlpool Corporation. Spending time tending to her yard and garden were some of her favorite ways to spend free time. Renee had a green thumb and she always grew beautiful flowers. Over the years, Renee had many dogs, many of which spent hours taking long walks in the woods. Some of her four-legged friends over the years were: Red, Crook, Champ, Meg, Al, BJ and Scrubby. Through the years Renee grew in her faith and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She will be greatly missed until we meet again.
Private services for Renee will be held at the convenience of the family.
