Back the Blue Barbecue to honor Darke County’s first responders with a tribute to Sheriff Toby Spencer
GREENVILLE, OHIO – The Darke County Republican Party will be hosting its annual hog roast on Sunday, October 17 in the Youth Building at the Darke County Fairgrounds.
This year’s event is themed “Back the Blue Barbeque” and will be dedicated to all first responders in our community that help to serve and protect us, with a special tribute to Darke County Sheriff Toby Spencer. Sheriff Spencer recently announced that he will be retiring Safter serving in the sheriff’s office since 1974.
“Sheriff Spencer has been a staple in our community for as long as I can remember and is the true definition of a public servant. He has dedicated his life to protecting and serving his fellow Darke County neighbors,” commented Cindy Pike, Darke County Republican Central Committee Chairman.
Please join in celebrating and thanking Sheriff Spencer and all of our first responders for their commitment to our citizens. This event is free, with a meal provided by the Republican elected officials of Darke County. No tickets necessary.
