In the second primaries for this year, which have been that late in the year because of the problems in the redistricting process in the State of Ohio, the Democrat races were uncontested and made Sophia Rodriguez the DEM-candidate for the State Representative for the 84th congressional district (northern part of Darke County, large part of Mercer County and parts of Auglaize County) .
The Republican voters had a choice between several candidates.
For the seat of the State Representative for the for the 84th congressional district were 3 candidates: Aimee Morrow, Angie King and Jacob Larger.
Here are the results for Darke County (with about 99% of the votes counted):
Angela King – 66.9%
Jacob Larger – 28.7%
Aimee Morrow – 4.4%
With also about 99% of the votes counted, Angela King won Mercer County with 68.1% and had 48.8% in Auglaize County (Jacob Larger 49.2%.
With 61.4% (the 3 Counties combined, with about 99% of the votes counted), Angie King will be on the ballots for the Republicans as a candidate for the 84th congressional district.
