Robert A. Wellman age 58, of Cincinnati and formerly of Greenville passed away at 9:24 pm Thursday, June 16, 2022, at his residence.
Robert was born May 17, 1964, in Coldwater to Elma Jean (Sundman) Wellman of Greenville and the late Leroy C. Wellman. In addition to his father, Robert was also preceded in death by a sister, Dian Bryson; and a niece, Andrea Clark.
In addition to his mother, Robert is survived by his siblings, John & Deborah Wellman of Columbus, Joyce & Tod Clark of Greenville and Joseph & Penny Wellman of Greenville; brother-in-law, Neil Bryson of Greenville; nephews & nieces, Ben (Rebekah) Bryson, Lindsey (Andrew) Cizmar, Seth Bryson, Zachary Wellman, Ian Wellman, Candice DeBoer and Jacob Clark; and numerous great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Robert was a 1983 graduate of Greenville High School. Robert was an electronic technician. He was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Robert enjoyed playing outdoor sports, fishing and hanging out with his friends.
A prayer service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Deacon Tom Graber officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Greenville. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home. The family request that you wear your favorite Bengals, Reds or Buckeyes attire. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic School in Greenville.
