JANUARY 20, 1929 – FEBRUARY 10, 2024
Roger Lee Walls passed away peacefully at his home in Greenville, Oho at the age of 95. He owned and raised many successful race horses over a span of 40 years.
He along with his brother Jim owned and operated Walls Bros. from 1961-1991. After selling, Roger stayed on as a consultant of heavy equipment until he was 72 in 2004. He served in the Korean War for 2 years, and was a longtime member of EUM Church in Greenville.
He was loved by all family and friends that knew him. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Jean Walls, his brother Jim, his mother and father, Walt and Lily Walls.
His current surviving family are son, Bruce Walls; grandson, Dalton Walls, Sister, Barbara Murphy, in law, Carol Walls.
A service will be held on Wednesday February 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Nick Good officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to EUM Church.
