The Darke County Animal Shelter has Runner and Olive available for adoption.
They got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and are heartworm negative, dewormed and microchipped.
The Shelter’s visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday only by appointment. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645
Olive came to us as a stray so our knowledge about her is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Olive a 3-year-old female Shepherd Mix. Olive has shown us that she knows how to sit, loves attention and treats. Olive learning to walk on a leash and doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Olive did great for nail trim, bath and exam where she weighs in at 29.5lbs.Runner came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Runner is a 3-year-old, neutered male Irish Wolfhound Mix. Runner has shown us that he knows how to sit, likes treats and really enjoys being outside. Runner is a very sweet boy who is a little shy at first and is going to need a family to give him time to warm up to them. Runner is learning to walk on a leash and doesn’t seem mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Runner did great for his nail trim, bath and exam where he weighs in at 54.5 lbs.
