Ruth Juanita Monks 95 of Union City passed away Friday September 8, 2023, at Reid Health Care in Richmond. She was born February 25, 1928, to the late Benjamin and Martha (Allread) Marker.
Ruth worked at Broadway Candy Company in Union City for 40 years. She loved her dog Ginger and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children; Jimmy (Dianna) Monks of Farmland, IN, Jana (John) Marshall of Union City, OH, grandchildren; Justin (Angie) Marshall, Jeremy Marshall, Jamie (Dustin) Bennett, and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Monks, brother, Mike Marker, and stepsister Beverly Hewett.
Private graveside services will take place at the convenience of the family.
